The small chapel stands on the edge of the village of Befa. You do not know the exact date of its Foundation, but the presence of a triptych of 15th-century Sienese school might give the impression that the building already existed on that date. The triptych was purchased by the State of Siena in 1972 and is now housed in the “Pinacoteca nazionale di Siena”.
The Church, is now used for cultural events.
