PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The olive harvest is carried out entirely by hand, in our organic olive groves in Montepulciano at over 450 meters a.s.l., at the beginning of veraison, when the olives are beginning to ripen and are rich in polyphenols and at the height of their aromatic potential.

Within 24 hours from the harvest, they are taken to the press where they are cold-pressed to extract the oil.

Bottling takes places after a short period of settling and without filtering, in order to guarantee a final product with a unique taste and a long lasting life.

 

Denomination: Extra virgin olive oil

Variety: Correggiolo, Moraiolo, Leccino, Pendolino and other local varieties

Olive groves: Podere Monti and Pietra del Diavolo

Layout: polyconic vase 300/400 plants per hectare

Soil: clayey, calcareous, ferruginous with a fossil-rich structure

Extraction: cold-pressed

Refinement: 1/3 months in steel

Production: 400 kg

Certification:  CCPB Organic extra virgin olive oil
